SYNOPSIS : In 2009, my Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimers. This short film is one family’s experience of dementia. The film is the brief story of Beryl, from when she was born in 1932, through to her marriage in 1954, and having me in 1967.It charts the great memories we have of Mum, and the effects of Alzheimer’s on both Beryl, and those closest to her.
