SYNOPSIS : (Inspired by Alexandra Bracken’s “The Darkest Minds” Luke and the others have successfully escaped from Freeman Rehabilitation Camp, a place that kept them on lockdown in order to keep them from using their powers they acquired from surviving IAAN, a virus that killed 98% of the child population. The camps are located all around the United States, all of them sending out the message that they’re “rehabilitating” the children there, but in reality, they are more like prison. Although they escaped, one of their friends, Kenna, decided to stay behind, and Luke, Desi, and Olive go off to rescue her, leaving the others at a makeshift safe house location on an old farm. Kenna is rescued, but the group has taken longer to get back to the safe house, and the others are faced with the choice of waiting for them and risking their safety, or leaving to save themselves.
