SYNOPSIS : The novelist finds herself on trial, and her new work, Lanxin, seems to be the pivotal point in the case. At the beginning of the novel’s story, Moli, a lone mother, and her daughter, Xiaohe, knock on Lanxin’s door on a rainy night and become her new tenant. As the rain continues, Lanxin repeatedly calls her mother to recall old childhood memories while a morbid crush is born on Moli. However, a fourth person seems to have appeared in the closed and eccentric home.
