SYNOPSIS : Rene Leos graces the screen in Alberto Ornelas new short film, Desolate. This story follows a lone wanderer (Leos) as he tries to survive after the fall of society due to a freak meteor shower. The only companions that keep his mental stability afloat are himself, his thoughts, and a little orange tabby cat named Simba. The struggle to keep moving forward in hopes of finding other people wane little by little everyday until the fight for survival is against something we’ve never encountered before.
