SYNOPSIS : My short film tells a story about a girl who receives her college acceptance letter, but suddenly realizes that her father has a secret family when she is taking an ID photo at a studio. She could not bear her parents’ self-centered quarrels anymore during the photo shooting. I am trying to tell a story about a girl struggling to grow up in a flawed family. Lipstick in the film not only stands for the symbol of maturity, but also a mask of hypocrisy, which adults are so used to, even in the family.This is the film that I’ve wrote, directed and produced, while edited and color-corrected later on.
